Used 850 evo underperforming (solved)

I just bouth this SSD off ebay it seems a little slow when a benchmark it compared to my 850pro on the same controller any reason it should be this much slower?

Your mobo has 2 x ASMedia SATA 6Gb/s ports (black). Are you sure the drive isn't connected to one of them?

yeah turns out I had too many HDDs plugged in and was confused on which port it was using.
