CaseLabs Mercury S8 Case - first time WC - help with planning loop

As the title says, I'm planning my first time custom water cooling loop - I've been building PCs for a while now, but never done water cooling before. Forgive the crude first swag at a loop design below, I simply find myself in the position of having too many options with this case biggrin.gif. I'd really like to get a preliminary plan down so I can configure the case properly when ordering. In all the build logs I've perused and all of the reading I've been doing, I still find myself at somewhat of a loss to decide on how to configure my loop and rads in this case.

Without getting lost on hardware specifics, I'll be running dual video cards and my CPU on water - not going to try cooling the RAM or mobo just yet. I'd like to run dual 360 rads (http://www.performance-pcs.com/alphacool-nexxxos-xt45-full-copper-x-flow-360mm.html) in the top and a 240 (or 280 if AplhaCool gets around to releasing them) in the front right. These new crossflow rads would seem to make the loop much simpler.

My first thought is to install dual D5's in the bottom left of the case in lieu of HDDs or a radiator. I'm wondering if anyone with this case has put a reservoir on the top left (really like the look of a res with the windowed front left panel) and dual pumps below without having to drill the case for tubing everything up? I know a single D5 would likely be enough for this rig, but I like the idea of running the pumps a bit quieter and having the redundancy of a second pump.

Those with more experience (which is about everyone), feel free to tear into the drawing below or offer suggestions/corrections. As I say, haven't ordered anything yet - only concept I'm fairly sold on is the case itself - love the look, quality, horizontal mobo - well, just about everything with this case. Thanks all in advance!

I have the pedestal with my ms8. Take a look at my build log that is linked in my sig. You might get some ideas from what I've done. Try to keep the runs as short as possible.

Looks great! I was having a heck of a time trying to get dimensions on the interior flex drive area - whether or not it would support a couple of pumps and a rad or not. Definitely food for thought - thanks!!

Thank you! I have reconfigured the pedestal, tubing runs and the drain. I should update my build thread.

You need the measurement of the area that has the HDD mounts/cages, the left chamber? I'll see if I can get you the size today. I don't think you could get a 360 thick RAD and 2 pumps. I think you could put a 240 RAD and the pumps.

That would be awesome. I think I sorted out a case config that will either let me run pumps in the bottom left HDD area or put them in the flex drive space and use a thin 360 at the bottom left. Went ahead and ordered up the case - excited to get the ball rolling on this.

Initial thought is to use the new-ish Aquacool Nexxxos X-Flow rads to cut down on the run lengths - cooling performance (for a cross flow rad) looks good, and I'll have more rad space than I need for two GPUs and a CPU, even for a planned OC. Having those dimensions will definitely be a help though, just if you have a chance.
