Wow. 10% faster though? So the RX 480 is better price:performance then.

$300 for a low-mid range card? Wow. I like Nvidia's products, even if I don't like their business morals. But damn.... That's a tough pill to swallow. Guess i'll have to wait and see how AIB 1060s perform vs. AIB 480s

I think so far we've only see the 6GB pricing. $249 for partners cards and $299 for founders. At least according to pcper.

Weird, WCCF noted that the 6GB was going to be $250, and the 3GB card was apparently another card altogether. Then again, WCCF is about as accurate as a bat using a sniper rifle.

660 was $230 with 660 Ti at $300
760 was $250
960 was $200

Wait people actually believed the whole higher quality thing as justification for the founder's edition pricing? biggrin.gif

Let me guess plenty of FE stock on release and stuff all cheaper versions. Perfect.

The Founders Edition card, designed by NVIDIA and the one we were sent for our initial reviews, will cost $299 and will be available ONLY at NVIDIA.com. NVIDIA is listing this one as “limited edition” so I would assume that means we will not see the Founders Edition throughout the entirety of the life of the GTX 1060.

I suppose this is where future founders editions will end up. Being limited editions sold exclusively by Nvidia at a hefty premium for a period of time before AIBs are allowed to release their products.

Also, considering that the 6GB founders edition is $299, the AIB versions of the 6GB card should cost less. Right?

Probably is another paper launch to stop 480 sales and to gain more time until they have more chips to sell at 250 $

No sli confirmed, I'm guessing 2 of these would beat a 1080 and Nvidia wasn't having it.
