51 of the 56 games tested from all the review sites around the world 1060 has double digit % leads on most of those 51 games. You can buy a 480 for 200 if you can find one, but its not a "better card".

For me it is a better card as its a better value. That's a personal opinion though. I really don't think buying either card is a bad move as each brings incredible performance down to the budget-ish level, but of course the green fanboys will never give AMD any credit for anything. 1060 slightly edges it out (those double digit % wins equate to all of like 5-10 FPS mostly) but undoubtedly costs more. It also remains to be seen how DX12 will turn out but the 1060 is certainly a great card and a great buy right now. Its not a zero sum game though and the 480 is also a great buy...

He was responding to your claim that rx480 is a better card. Looking from a objective point of view, 1060 is clearly faster even in dx12 titles according to that link. Factoring in the price will definitely change the story though.

That's what I mean. Whichever is better in your opinion, price has to be part of that conclusion.

Leistungsaufnahme=power draw
that's power draw, 11% more power draw from 4% oc.
since when framerate is measured in Watts ?
do you even know what a dictionary is ? and who would even think and believe you can get 11% more performance out of 4% overclock lachen.gif

- Black Ops 3 is another broken turd plus it's Call of Kiddies so who cares

1060 still wins all the time basically except where it loses unfairly. So you should really just buy the 1060 and don't even bother with the 480.

I think that about sums it up. redface.gif

Vulkan DOOM is pure and clear AMD win, if nvidia wishes to change that they'd better haul ass. the problem is different, namely are we gonna have to wait +2 months for dx12/vulkan patches for every game in order to make the reviews fair for amd ?

Gotta keep in mind there's also the fact that pricing varies a lot. As soon as 1060 launched in Europe, it made 480 look like another half-assed release.

first of all you posted a link that sent me to power draw
second of all, it's 4% oc on the core and 10% on the memory, so 11% increase is quite understandable. frankly, AIB 1060s also oc 3-5% on the core but some of them do up to 9600MHz on memory while rx480s can't, that's why oc vs oc 1060 pulls away

I never said about GTX 1060 , did I ? why should i compare to GTX 1060 ? Also If you see Power Draw on first page , it's not my fault.Instead of Laughing at people , you should be carefully with your mouth before You pull crap words from your mouth.
