I hear you there, but in doing so, we're still perpetuating the idea that it's okay to overcharge for sub par products. (Which admittedly, AMD has also
been guilty of, whatwith the whole 7970 ordeal.) The main reason I avoided AMD when I bought my last card (GTX 670) was back then there was a lot of driver issues being shoved around in forums, so I was apprehensive to dive into it) But now that AMD has somewhat gotten their driver mess in order, that no longer holds true.
Literally the ONLY advantage I see in Nvidia cards is the fact that they're far more efficient. But that efficiency doesn't make up for some of their sleezeball tactics aimed at milking people dry. So I'd rather support the competition (Knowing that I'm not getting as much performance) in order to stimulate competition.
