[Various] 1060 News/Info & Reviews - Page 68

Well until we see some useful reviews, I'm wondering how NVIDIA will play off how they're structuring their pricing.

This is absolute hypothetical and conspiracy theory stuff, but I think NVIDIA is potentially pricing this series higher and more closely related to the 9-series because something like a $900-1000 1080Ti might exist. And depending on how AMDs big chips do when they come out, they may just decide to not release a Titan. It's probably a long shot, but they could go so far as to milk that structure until AMD catches back up again.

Who knows...I'm probably crazy redface.gif.

Even if I have to pay similar money for a similar performing card second hand , I am not inclined to reward price gouging !

Yeah, depending on how much AIB RX 480s end up being. It's looking like a used 390/x is the best option for us Aussies.

IMHO they are jacking up prices across the board because they have to make as much profit as possible before on package memory allows 1080p+ IGPs.

We should be seeing HD 7850/GTX 950 level integrated graphics in a year or so. And you can get playable framerates out of those @ 1440p (medium/low settings obviously).

More like 2-3 years, you are underestimating how much power 7850/950 has

Can't wait. Seriously. Having used two apu's for a bit now (A10 5800k and A8 6410) they are fun to mess around with and perform surprisingly well.

Anyways... so they are for sale but not a single remotely reliable benchmark to be found?

P11 is already small enough to integrate with a quad core Zen. It gives ~7850 performance from what I have seen floating around.

Glad I grabbed a 2nd hand 970 not long ago for $130 cheaper than a new 1060. Probably not far off performance wise either.

Anyway, Strix GTX 1060 gets ~4,650 in SkyDiver.
