Cooling Overclocked AMD FX-8350 with Noctua NH-D15 ??? URGENT !!!

Thread Starter
AMD FX-8350 Overclock to 4740Ghz at 1.410/1.450v and cooling with Noctua NH-D15 is it possible to keep it below 60c ?

i would replace one DEFAULT Noctua NF-A15 PWM fan with 1 Noctua NF-F12 PWM

i had Cooler Master Nepton 120 could not keep it under 60c with 1 push Noctua NF-F12 PWM and 1 pull Noctua NF-S12A

so i replaced it with Cooler Master Nepton 240m 2x push Noctua NF-F12 PWM and 2x pull Noctua NF-S12A and it was just barely under 60c

so yesterday after some 7 months pump died SO FOR ME CLC-AIO NEVER AGAIN

can Noctua NH-D15 do a better job?

NH-D15, Alpenfohn Olymp, Silverstone HE01, NH-D14, Silver Arrow varients, PH-TC14PE, will all do the job You might need to adjust and optimize case airflow. You might find "Ways to Better Cooling" to be helpful. 1st post is index, click on topic to see it. 5th topic is a good place to start.

Sure it is possible with a little work on case air flow.

This is with a Thermalright Silver Arrow IB-E Extreme in an open case. Note the temperatures and vcore.
