Thermaltake Core P3 Owner's Club - Page 63

Hello everyone.

I am looking to replace my current aluminium radiator with a slimline copper radiator. Any recommendations?

Also, I need to add something to be able to easily drain the fluid. Know of any good parts?

Thanks guys

EK SE360 does a good job for me.

Here is a measure of the space. i know the spec shett for the p3 case advise 280mm space for a gpu when a RADIATOR fitted. have i measured this space conservatively enough, as it look like 290- to me, and wonder if i could fit the Palit gtx 1070 game rock ( 285mm) into the space? otherwize i might play safe with an asus dual 1070 in white. thing is, i notice several palits on ebay whereas the asus are few and far between. Have any p3 owners fitted the Palit before?

1st - f*$k Palit)))
2nd - my ASUS Poseidons 980 are 285mm long and they fit just fine, I think max possible length is 295mm.

I know Palit GPUs from early 2000s, ***** quality. Also I work in warranty dept - Palit are the most defective boards. They look like a cheap crap as well. I'd go with ASUS Strix - it's the best looking board imo it has good cooling system as well.

ok. well ive made an offer of 200 quid for a nearly new one, good value at that cost whatever the quality. if that does not pan out i was leaning towards a white card for the aesthetics of the build. this pc will need to run 2 4k screens not gaming ( and a 1080 too probably.)
Im actually doing two builds. the first is an atx fx board build with older chip. just getting rid of heat problems from old inferior case. also replacing the asus rx290 with a 1070 as it been alot of trouble really.
the second build is 5960k, x99 mobo, nvme and a 1080 hopefully. also hope to get this on a p3, as a p5 would not accomodate an aio hose length i believe, i i would prefer to go aio for simplicity sake! the x99 machine will run a 4k screen also (ks7000) and be used to tax a 1080 at 4k
