This is extremely ugly:

And P3 with glass panels is just a matter of taste. If you are happy with tons of dust inside it - I don't force you to make these panels. And don't tell me that there are a lot of cases with 4-side glass blah blah blah - I wanted this one and I bought it)

Many people, actually. I understand its exponentially decreasing relevance and popularity, but today, many people still use them. So I guess one would have to make a custom mount for one? Cause I have enough crap on my desk, i don't want to add an external ROM, frankly. But where the heck would you even mount one cause I plan to use that space for the radiator..err

There are some 3D models of 5.25' drive holders on Thermaltake website.

Cool, Ill check those out. thanks.

Man this case would've been perfect if they would've integrated a (slim) ROM vertically, within the mainframe.

What other cases with tempered glass look nicer? Serious question. thumb.gif

I don't see where to place it.
And if we talk reality - 1 of 10 people is using optical drives now, if not less.

It's fine thanks. I hadn't realize the external ones had gotten so slim. I can definitely make it work with one of these. I could mod the case to fit one, or I can just put it on the back. But I know a lot of people that use discs for a variety of reasons, it's more than one out of ten -- more like 30-40%

But thanks anyway. I'll be ordering my P3 soon.

Yeah, the Corsair one is nice but I still think the P3 with side panels would look nicer.

Just checking to see any new info, report that I'm assembling parts for my P3 build... I'm picking up parts as they go on sale, saved almost $400 so far with markdowns and mail in rebates (BTW, the P3 with mail-in rebate was $99 on Newegg). I've got the Gigabyte X99, intel 6800k, Evga 1080, P3 and a few other parts sitting in my closet while I wait for other sales.

I do have a question, though. I'm looking to do a custom liquid cooling setup, but I'm having a hard time locating components for the actual tubing. I'd like to find some decent 90° compression non-swivel fittings, white. Anybody have a line on a good source of fittings? LiquidCPU seems really hit or miss, Amazon was out of stock, and Newegg has poor selection. Also, any good recommendations for rigid tubing that can take a good bend?
