Intersting, how the it says DM1 Pro S glossy on the bottom, but on the matte one it only says DM1 Pro S without matte biggrin.gif

Thanks very much.

Not sure if i like what i see though.

Seems like the lense wouldn't even fit to the lense spot. Thats what i don't like about dreammachines. With the 3310 version the sensor seemed to be soldered to highly placed on the pcb. Between the lense and the sensor is like 1 mm space for whatever reason, where on 3090/3888/am101 and all other mice who share similiar lense design, the parts fit perfectly in each other. There just never is any space between bottom shell, lense and sensor chip. But it is definitely on my two dm1 pro's. (wasn't really a surprise as the lenses were not centered with the sensor hole either. You could even see that from the promo pix as far is i remember)

well from what i see it dont have any impact on performance thou at least sensor is horizontally centered. Vertically is still pretty much centered as well. Wish every mouse have such problems ;D

Remember that they can tell factory to make new base but it costs... it will lead to increase the price for the mouse and it's really not worth it

Oh im pretty sure it still does the 5 or 6 ms. Thats not the question. But for a few of us performance and lift-off doesn't only mean max speed and mm/CD height. I feel a change in precision/aiming on different lift-off settings/mousefeet height, even when not lifting the mouse at all. So yes, im pretty sure i would notice a difference if the lense isn't fitted to the bottom shell, like the other 3366 mice. But i couldnt imagine that at least the space between the lense and sensor is gone, as the lense is now pushed higher to the PCB rolleyes.gif (yes i know the lense is fixed to the sensor anyway)

They have actually. Its just not as visible with older sensor/lense designs. But even the g303 is bad in this regard. Once you have taken it apart its impossible to put it exactly how it was together. You cant even see very good from looking at the sensor hole, if the lense is perfectly centered. With the new dm1 pro 3360 its sure not the problem. (the hole is big enough to the see the edges of the lense.)

Does the mouse feel snappier than your 3090 ec1?... i hated the lag on that one.

Didn't have much time to test so far but it's seemed more like 'glued' or sharper, kind of similar. Like it more overall if you ask me.
Ps. booth buttons have distinctly different click sound (right one is more soft and delicate, left one is louder and sound is kind of 'thicker ') , however it does not matter for me at all.

i see what you mean. i dont get mine until next week. I hated how the 3090 mice felt delayed and wobbly @ 1000hz.... both my g400 and ec1 evo did.... I hope this mouse will be a keeper... othewise i will just stick to my 3.0 and give up the search lol.

Never liked the EC1 shape. Slippery (not just the coating), awkward on the wrist. Other Zowies, OK, not great.

Old shapes are the best. Not great lookers, but effective.

- WMO.
- IE1.1
- IE3.0
- G9X.
- Sensei.
- MX300.
- MX510.

-> FM TP/S1, DM1, Revel, G200.

Basically, mice not designed like spaceships, too heavy, needlessly ergonomic, or 'aerodynamic' looking (narrow waist, shallow front), nor designed for baby hands.

Mouse manufacturers need to go back to basics.Hopefully, niche manufacturers like Nixeus, DM, FM, will show the way. Logitech seem to be backtracking already from their ridiculous ergonomics to something more sensible and generic (G200).
