Dream Machines DM1 Pro S - Page 47

I just received mine after calling the post office for the 5th time. all the buttons seem very crisp and working as they should be. Scroll wheel does wobble when you touch the wheel to the left and right.. but by moving the mouse fast left and right the wheel doesn't move at all. So far very pleased with my purchase.

Their support is truly amazing. I've just received mine biggrin.gif, clicks are very similar to the fk1(the one with the yellow wheel and logo). Cable is a bit stiff, but better than the g303's. I guess i can finally say bye to ma wmo 1.1a. Side buttons are perfect for me wheee.gif

Received the glossy today (from the UK supplier, KustomPCs), on the whole happy with it (gloss is excellent, sensor excellent) though unfortunately my LMB isn't great, it's not as crisp as the RMB and occasionally double-clicks. It does not feel very solid if I'm honest and it's not the best for tapping heads.

Can someone confirm that your clicks do not sound like this (someone with the glossy version please).

It seems I will be forced to RMA and get a replacement it if you confirm that this is a specific issue of my unit.

Thanks all.

Matte and i get something similar, right click is better than left. Think this is a design issue DM might have overlooked. No double clicks on mine though, eo you might need to RMA.

I misspoke actually, it's not double-clicking, it's more me being used to my stiffer and crisper ZA clicks thus causing me to hold LMB a tad too long when playing CS, resulting in two shots being fired occasionally.

I'm fairly certain I saw someone fix the Revel's poor clicks (in the Revel thread) where they filed down part of the LMB which solved the problem.

EDIT: Found it: http://www.overclock.net/t/1606035/nixeus-revel-its-here/520#post_25429296

Just got the best excuse yet from dhl. They thought they were supposed to deliver it to my home, but they didn't call due to them not having my number. Why there was no email or mail was never explained. The package has been sitting 10 min drive from me for a week now.

Would this be a good mouse to go to if I really like the shape of the FK1 but have a few issues with it? Mainly the shell causing stiff clicks.
It is bigger than the FK1, so if you don't feel the FK1 to be at the upper range of your size preference I would give it a shot.
One reason I prefer the Xai shape (which the DM1 uses) is that the FK1 always was to narrow around the mid, where you usually hold the mouse, which let to my hand cramping after longer than 30 minutes of gaming.

Ya, I think if I was going to stick with the FK series the FK1+ would work better for me. Currently the FK1 feels like it's not wide enough to completely accommodate my ring finger. So if that is the case with this mouse I think it would be good for me.

I like the clicks much better on my FK1+ than those of this mouse or the revel.

In fact my two Revels and DM1 S are already retired to the mouse drawer and went back to using the FK.
