1070 Benchmark Solid/Games crashing

Thread Starter
Hey,
I have an EVGA 1070 and after hours of tweaking (noob to overclocking) I found a decent low overclocking that worked running Heaven Benchmark 4.0 with no artifacts/slowdowns/blacklines. I've run a few games with it at settings and it lasted (Overwatch mainly) but there are some that crash after 30 minutes and need me to restart the game (computer doesnt need it) in particular xcom 2. I haven't tried on many other games (lack of time) but something isn't doing well. If it helps I dont have cooling for my gpu in specific but was running the fan at 100% speed. the particular parts that might affect the GPU and overclocking are here http://pcpartpicker.com/list/yLz99W . Any help would be apprectiated.

Here goes my bet:

Have you thought that your 1070 is demanding so much work from yoor 2500k to keep hgn framerates, that is your CPU failing not your GPU?.

Do tests with no OC un your 4670K and see what happens...
