So I found these old speakers in my garage

Are they completely useless or would they work ? I have 0 experience with speakers and wanted to ask if it's worth trying to build something out of them. I'd use this guide http://www.overclock.net/t/408347/how-to-car-audio-on-a-computer#post_4856172

I see no reason as to why they wouldnt work unless they're broken. No gurantees they'll sound decent though.
