The price means a lot to me because I'm going to buy the gtx 1060/70 and need as much money as possible for that one which I find more important than the monitor.

Not a fan of AOC brand/design.

I just bought the AOC G2460PG (same panel as the G2460PF I believe) after having the XL2430T for a week. Colors and contrast seemed way better, but there was a very faint vertical black line on the left middle side. It looked a bit like the backlight was less intense where the line was or something. It wasn't really that noticeable, and only on black backgrounds. But I'm really annoyed by such things, so I'm sending this one back.

Waiting for my Acer XB241H to arrive. If that doesn't leave me satisfied, I'll probably give up on 144hz monitors for the time being. I also ordered a Dell U2515H. Should be good, but you never know.

Goodluck bro. I just bought the XL2411Z, I'm sure it's good enough for whatever I use it for. XL2411T didn't disappoint until it chose to have a broken power plug after 5 years.

Might give the XL2411Z a chance if the Acer XB241H disappoints. If the Dell U2515H is good however, I'm done buying monitors

Can't help anymore than this, but the newest XL2430T firmware is available on my onedrive.

You're on your own if you want to flash it.
Benq's method (used by their own engineers) but prepare to buy the device for $60:

(I own this device. It works. I even bricked a VG248QE by flashing a XL2720Z firmware into it, then recovered the VG248QE, although I had to get rid of the XL2720Z EDID manually through Linux (not fun)). The software is on the MAIN blur busters site under Benq do it yourself V2, or how to or something.

money free way: I suggest a LEGACY BIOS and NOT a UEFI BIOS if you want to do this, and it CAN work over a DVI port if using a legacy bios:
follow my instructions on page 21. I have no idea about the state of the Linux repository either so please don't ask me.
