Thanks, i will try this as well.

In the meantime i tested the right heatsink with thermal paste instead of thermal pads (i made sure they all have contact), but the temperature was still at 95°C after a few minutes. (3DMark as well as Furmark)

I dont think you are doing anything wrong, I am thinking you just might be maxing them out in terms of how much heat they can remove with your current setup. Have you tried increasing airflow?

The way your cooler is setup it might not have enough air flow over the VRMs.

Try putting a 120mm or 80mm fan directly on top or behind the VRMs.

Tried this as well, temperature was slightly better (87°C but i tested just for a few minutes).
But i just had another idea, the voltage controller seems to read the VRM temperature from a simple external NTC instead of an actual sensor embedded into the VRM. (correct me if that is wrong)



If that's the TSEN1 (just a assumption on the picture) it more or less just cares about the immediate area temperature.

So, the high temp is at 127°C and critical temp at 134°C.

At least i found TSEN2 NTC, so it's really working like i thought:

I don't know if this will help or not, but I made sure I positioned a heatsink over the temp sensor;

JB Weld them together then adhere them to the chips with the thinnest coating of T.A.
