Bought Powercolor rx 480 ref card, and mounted Arctic Twin Turbo III on it, both bottom dadiator + fan and backplate.
Now the issue is both msi afterburner, and Wattman read no GPU fan spead or some crazy values like jumps from couple hundreds thousands RPMs to couple (dozens) thousands. Actually latest version of afterburner doesn't even detect both any GPU temp, GPU temperature, fan speed, it doesn't even have in menu option to enable GPU temp read in OSD. it shows gpu usage but I'm pretty sure also wrong since it jumps in the middle of the game all over place from 0 to 100%. Also fan speed is perm disabled and can't be controlled by user in any way.
Downloaded GPU-Z and altough it shows some readings I'm still not sure if the readings were correct. Both in idle and games fans were always 19 % (or at least that's what it showed), what caused in lastest Tomb Raider temps arround 65 C, but in Witcher 3 reached 85 C before we switched off PC and decided to connect gpu fan cable to molex thanks to adapter included in twin turbo box.
Temps went down and Witcher the sometimes reach 60 C and in TR arround 50. Could be better but not complaining.
Now the isue is still fans speed, which I have no idea what exactly is. After moving gpu fan to molex, Wattman shows 0 speed, afterburner nothing as previous, and GPU-Z sometimes shows 19 other times 100% or 60% even if no game is launched.
So finally my question is how to control fan speed on this card and what software can show me actual correct readings? I guess moving fan cable back to GPU is necessary.
Is the latest version of afterburner not compatibile with RX 480 or something?
Is gpu fan speed connected to molex even controllable in any way, ie it's in fact always 100% despite of what gpu-z shows?
Some help is appreciated.
