I used to play 500 @ 1.6 w/ the G100s and never reached the malfunction speed.

SO you'd choose the G100s over the Rival 100?

yea ofc
AM010 is much better in feeling than the 3050 ( 3059 Steelseries ) for me ...
if the G100s is a bit too heavy for you , you can open it and remove the included weight ...

I play with 400 CPI and 1.6 sens in CSGO. I don't even reach 2.5m/s unless when need to do some turns fast. With your sensitivity you're pretty much never going to make it malfunction unless you do it intentionally.

Only reason to go with rival is extra malfunction headroom on low CPI. Other than that G100S is a better mouse.

Edit: Also the side buttons. If you really can't live without them, rival 100 would be a better fit.

I've heard bad stuff about the G100s' left click and build quality. Is this true?
the only reason id pick the rival100 over the g100s is side buttons. currently the g100s is on my desk and my rival 100 is on the shelf.

im maining my 4g death adder for most games at the moment unless i play starcraft or another game where i dont need the side buttons.

i just had a nice run with my rival 100 and decided to switch it up, i have a lot of mice that need attention.

both shapes/weights are great.

yes. I've had 3 G100S so far and all of them had a malfunctioning LMB after a couple of weeks of usage. However, the Rival 100 has a bug with the LED that can lead to malfunctioning buttons as well.

I'd say wait for the new Logitech release that should be coming out in the near future. Users on the forum here are hoping for an improved G100S with hopefully better build quality and the 3366 sensor.

No it has omron switches and the clicks feel very nice, I never had issue with.
The positive difference of the rival over the g100s are the 2 side buttons, and the ergonomic nothing else.

I must say though, the G100s shape isn't for everyone, it's quite small and very rounded at the back so more of a fingertip mouse
However you can rest your ring finger near the right click because there is a lip which is nice
