(Appraisal) ASUS ROG 17 Inch 980m Laptop W/ ROG Backpack

Hello All,

I am getting off active duty US Navy, and will have space/time again for a desktop so I would like to sell my new ROG laptop. Bought the laptop Dec 21 2015, so its just over 6 months old.

This is the G751JY-WH71(WX) model, Paid over $1600 for it. Also would come with the ASUS ROG Nomad backpack, which was also $150.

Specs as follows;
Screen Size 17.3 inches
Max Screen Resolution 1920*1080 pixels
Processor 2.6 GHz Core i7-4720HQ
RAM 16 GB DDR3
SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (I upgraded the stock 128GB SSD)
Hard Drive 1TB 7200RPM
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M 4GB GDDR5
Wireless Type 802.11 A/C
Number of USB 3.0 Ports 4

Condition is pretty much brand new, you could never tell its not brand new. I have original box and everything that came with it. Still under original factory warranty as well, which covers accidental damage as well as the normal parts warranty.

ASUS ROG Laptop https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015QZPRW4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Upgraded Samsung SSD https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OBRE5UE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
ROG Backpack https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IR79QWQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Please let me know how much I should ask for this. I will probably list on OCN first, and then go to ebay if no offers.

Bump, would asking say $1200 for this be to much or to little? I feel it would be a great deal for someone, seeing how it cost nearly $1900 less than 6 months ago new, but I would like to sell it reasonably fast so I can get a desktop.

If I had $1200.00, I'd buy it.... I think that is not an unreasonable price... thumb.gif

Go with the $1200.00, you can always lower the price if you need the money quick.... biggrin.gif

Sold to a shipmate of mine local, so i don't have to haul it back home. $1200 he seemed pretty happy, and thats enough to get me started on a pretty nice desktop.
