HELP.failed over clock now pc won't stop crashing on stock

Hey, so my computer keeps crashing and freezing on stock after a failed over clock.. which was stable for Round 4 months.
MY SETUP
Asus P5G41C-M
Q8400
Msi cyclone gtx 460 oce
4gb genric ram
My stable overclock that I achieved was 3.16ghz on +0.03v
On the CPU
My gpu is +120mhz on the core and +110 on memory at a total of 1000ma

Yesterday I checked my task manager like I do and I noticed that my cpu was no longer running 3.16 it was stock so when I turned everything back up
It kept crashing and freezing I reset cmos everything same result freezing and crashing on stock and oc

How would I test this... like prime 95 on the ram setting thing ( sorry I'm still new )

Try OCCT and use the linpack tab. Test for a good hour or two. Can also use memtest. I would suggest testing each stick individually so you can weed out the bad one/s.

Well after I used memtest and prime 95 blend test sometimes I would get bsod saying memory management or unexpected store exception but once I load op csho on high settings ( getting 100fps before) I get around 40ps then after about 10-15 minutes it bsod saying one of the two error messages above.. I have 8gb hyperx ram coming I will try that and see if it works
