Dream Machines DM1 PRO S Giveaway - Matte or Glossy with PMW3360 Sensor - Page 2

What I want from mouse:
- reasonably lightweight..
- good, ergonomic shape
- good coating.. I like the coarse coating on some of previous "L" mice. I don't know what, but I'm sure it's not rubber coating. And the coating must be able to withstand sweaty hands..
- good sensor.. Somewhere along AM010 / 3310 / 3360 / 3366 is fine, I guess. Low LOD is a bonus.
- durable

Mouse name for the contest:
DM DEUS..

DM - Experience!

Personally i prefer ergonomic shape that doesnt force your grip (the comfy does that with its ring finger support), so i'll suggest that. Also I think a good mouse skates are underrated. Make them as smooth as possible!

If you want choices on what future mice to make for us pathetic addicts here on OCN, we need a small Abyssus-styled Shape.

No side buttons because it has to be a Pure Mouse with no extras added. Also NO Leds required here, serious gamers don't need lights to prove their expertise in winning.

Also make the shell so it doesn't have any spray on rubber totally useless and it wears away eventually, just make the ABS shell rough to hold because we want to feel the mouse when furiously hunting down our victims online.

Plus make it light as you can and that it has an all plastic cable, extremely thin in diameter so it doesn't get in the way of WINNING.

Another extra required, make the mouse shell fully accessible like what Asus has done with their latest range of mice allowing them to open easily for the users to clean and also replace internals if need be. Too many companies make it difficult for end users to open their mice for routine maintenance.

Hope you will at least consider one item here so that your company can start contributing Brilliant Mice that every user can call their own.

Cheers cheers.gif .

I wish the mouse to be all mat (no glossy plastic at all) with durable grip, very solid wheel , at least four side buttons ergonomically placed (on the same side),DPI button (easily accessible), additional buttons switches placed along the left/right buttons.Machining would make the click sounds very faint (kind of silent mouse), size of the mouse is medium for both claw and palm users, not too light. Premium materials used, mouse must not feel cheap, best OMRON switches possible. No RGB biggrin.gif

Name of the mouse: Dream Machines RAN

Agreeing with Elrick. Small, lightweight, no sidebuttons, textured ABS, rubber cable and, YES, not putting the screw holes underneath the mouse feet or sticker. Don't really care if opening it voids the warranty or not. The only thing I'd add to it is 1 button behind the scroll wheel that acts as a backwards button. Maybe a button underneath for switching between a few CPI steps but not permanent steps. Steps that we can customise. Call it "The Elite" tongue.gif

Small, lightweight, without sidebuttons - something in the line of the G100s but overall better ABS shell.
Non-braided cable and a 3310 or 3360 sensor - name it DM Prime.

It seems kinda unfair to ban the winner from future "stages" when we don't even know what those will be. I'd like to enter but if you guys end up releasing some G9-like mouse and give that away for stage 2/3 I'd rather hold off my entry.

And yes that's a suggestion for a G9 knockoff (with 3360 obviously). smile.gif

Dm1 pro but a bit smaller length wise (120mmish) - adjustable lod w/o software

I really like the name Lucid offered by another poster.

That said there are so many basic mouse clones out there. My main game is a mmo so I prefer mice like the g600 and the naga. In that genre there aren't as many options. Ideally 10 side buttons with a shift option in addition to the standard mouse configuration. Oh and pinky grip to apply counter force to the thumb.

What I want from a mouse:
Reliable buttons with zero debounce latency. (if you're using SPDT switches, use SR latch type debouncing instead of a delay. If you're using SPST switches, only debounce the release, not the press.)
Linear sensor with no angle snapping.
light weight. The lighter the better.
side buttons positioned for fingertip grip.
Default button configurations just being mouse 1 through mouse X. If I want a button for DPI or whatever, I'll set that up manually.
Proper strain relief on cable.

Things I really don't care about:
decorative LEDs
gold plated USB cable

Mouse name suggestion: DM Dragonfly
