Honestly though, thanks for the opportunity, DM team. It's much appreciated. These kinda community contests/events are awesome. Also, here's the story if any of you were unfamiliar with Bert.

Good luck to everyone else in the upcoming stages.

What a coincidence...

Here we would like to announce our final Lighting round of this giveaway project - we will distribute 3 units of DM1 PRO S mice to the winners of this stage.

Here our final question: What is the most anticipated software feature you would like to see on our products and why?

Rules:

- one entry per person;
- users with 50+ posts can participate;
- winners of the two previous rounds cannot win in this round;
- deadline is 72 hours from the moment this post is published;

Good luck!

One thing that I rarely see on mice is the ability to configure click delay, and most mice that have it are absolute garbage, it's nice to be able to do so because if my mouse starts to double click I can turn the click delay up a little bit instead of replacing the switches or returning the unit.

for me it's simple ...
1. custom CPI & steps ( maybe disable steps to get only 2 steps ) , because not everyone likes the standart settings ...
2. LED settings ( colour and On/Off ), because some likes LED, others dont want it
3. LoD Settings, because it's good to choice the LoD whiich some like ( maybe just low , normal , high )

Since custom CPI was already suggested...

I think to expand on that, having the ability to store your settings in the mouse itself via onboard flash would be amazing. This is a nice convenience because if you reformat or move to a new system, it can remember your settings (for CPI and specific programs).

Make a Castor-like software that doesn't need to be installed.

Obviously DPI settings because I got used to different settings in Shooters and RTS/Mobas.

I feel like this is a very limiting question and a lot of people are going to be saying the same thing. There's only been a few answers so far and they've already mentioned the things that I would have said. Click delay and install-free.

So, I going to be completely ridiculous and say that my favourite hypothetical software feature would be voice control. You plug a mic into your computer and, provided the software is running in the background, you can configure everything to do with the mouse. Things such as "DM1, I want a lift-off distance of 69.420mm" or "DM1, I want CPI step 3 to be 16,000,000" or "DM1, tell me a story, I'm bored" to which it proceeds to answer you and read out a randomly chosen audiobook from Audible.com*, should you ask it to thumb.gif

Why, you ask? Handsfree (kinda). Less clicking. Longer switch lifetime tongue.gif

*Free lifetime subscription to Audible.com with every mouse purchase
