It's a no software mouse, so it won't have macros.

Anyway, programs like jitbit or autohotkey are much better than anything in mouse software. I'd prefer mouse manufacturers not waste their time/money.

If there is no info about it there is no macros don't you think ?wink.gif Mouse is softwareless like Zowie ones.

Use AutoHotKey or FreePie. Works anywhere with anything. I can't imagine any of the mouse software to be able to do what I need from AHK and FreePie in some games, no freakin' way.

Mouse software is a hindrance overall to have. There are plenty programs to create macros for mice and keyboards and joystick and phones and gloves and what ever you want really and they actually allow you to do what you want where as mice software is often limited to very simple commands.
I use mouse+keys even as a steering wheel emulator with a script that is 500-1000 lines of code, I really want to see any mouse or keyboard software to be able to do that lol, no way unless they are fully programmable and would support other 3rd party plugins.

For regular game use and office work, AHK is the way to go and will automatically enable macros depending on what app has focus.

But of course if you want the dumb mouse software there are dumb mice you can buy that offer it. They can be good too and better suited for general population.

Mouse software is not a hindrance and people need to stop spreading that concept. It's only a hindrance if it's some Synapse-style garbage. Otherwise it doesn't negatively affect anyone to have the option to customize their mouse further, and even if you're paranoid enough to think that software ruins your computer even after you've uninstalled it, there is install-free software like the Castor's.

No software is objectively inferior. It's not even a debate.

If you're patient enough and proficient enough to code 500-1000 lines for your mouse then good for you. Most of us aren't.

Have no issue with my EVGA X3L software at all.
