One of those power supplies will be more than enough to to power the CPU and motherboard (EPS + 24-pin) without having to be connected anywhere.

You just need to take one of the power supplies, bring the 24-pin and 8-pin EPS to the motherboard and from the PSU, bring the PS_ON to the other power supply.

I know,I said that a few posts back when you recommended that power combo. The second EPS will be handy tho, even if I repurpose as a 6 pin GPU board power.

2 980Tis and a 6 core X99 wont run on just a 600w PSU..which is the largest SFX PSU available. The 700w Silverstone is just a little bit too long and still wont run it on its own.

This is news to me so the silverstone wont fit in this case?

You think a CPU/1080/SSD and watercooling stuff would fit on a single 600w?

for sure. A 1080gtx is only 180 w. Each 980ti is 250 w. So two would be 500 w already...

Ah ok, yes forgot this is not a regular caselabs case. Coulda swear the sfx psu's were at least up to 800w. Cool understood thumb.gif

The SFX-L 700w butts right up to the HDD cage, not ideal for me but how bad do you need your HDD cage?

By little bit too long...

How so?

Just received my 700w Silverstone, and am going to stick it into a BH2 to support a 1080 and X99, with 4 SSD's and a Pair of Hard drives.
