Non-issue.

As you can see, network drivers spike higher than the rest for virtually all systems.

Ok so thought i would add some more results

Like i said in my other posts done a fair few builds with the 10's now
i am now on my 18th 10 series build and all exhibit the same issue's

plus cards sold on there own again most of the pc's have come back with issues

i am at a point now where i can not simply build with these cards and give the client's there pc's and say to them all running fine... its simply not with any 10 card

tests
this with latest driver and hot fix tested in win 7 8.1 and 10 all the same

Tested 1060 70 80's

random game stutters
random browser lag IE firefox chrome resize the browser or full screen it removes the lag strange one
streaming stutter mainly Amazon prime you tube and others fine
Some builds audio issues
some games underutilise low fps low gpu usage 10 series cards any other card 900's 600 or even amd 480 does not happen

As soon as any other card is placed in that is not a 10 series all problems simply vanish pc's works as intended

Even now as i am typing this i am getting browser lag have to full screen to solve

here are some results

i5 system z97

with 1080 win 7 similar results in win 10

1080

Now with a 980

other build i have here i7 z170 just tested this 5 mins ago
15 mins of browsing streaming and playing lawbreakers

1080

with a 980 ti

like i said every pc i have had back from the clients or been built over the last two months with any 10 series card is a mess just hoping the new driver fixes some of the issues

Have you tried disabling HT on I7 CPU's ?
For me it reduces latency by a good bit when said PC is paired with a NV card.
I know its just a bandaid but it could maybe make youre client PC's playable until there is a reall solution. (and you can switch HT back on)

Doesnt matter, latency interupts can "interrupt" basicly anything on your PC.
If CPU/USB is sending the 0's and 1's for your music to your DAC the CPU/USB can be interrupted by this latency.
It then depends on how big the buffer is on your audio player, when latency time exceeds the buffer you will hear a crackle or pop.
Even on ASIO many people still have a buffer between 20~120ms wich is enough to handle most latency interrupts.

Hope my non native English explanation is easy to understand.........

Hi Farih

thx

yes one of the 1st things i did ht disabled

i have tried everything possible

the z170's of all my results have the highest dpc with a 10
closely followed by z87 97

h chip-sets seem lower

amd chipset about the same as the z97 z87's

tried alot of chip sets thus far now ...would love to try an old p67 or around there been told by a few now there fine with there 10 cards but would love to test myself shame really had ap67 board in 2 months ago i may just buy a 2nd hand one to test ....the joys of nvidia frown.gif

I disabled all c-states on 4790K and my latency is now between 13-20us most of the time. Power went up from 10W to 30W in idle, I think I'm gonna keep that as it is now.

No, this is still 368.81 -- it's been the most stable recent driver I've used in this build thus far that I can also bench TimeSpy with.

I tried the hotfix once, and had some problems crashing TimeSpy with higher GPU clocks. I'll try it again; maybe I did something wrong last time.

USB is plebe stuff tongue.gif. Optical all the way....but yeah...I'll just chalk it up to my not being able to perceive it. I won't complain about that smile.gif. I play CS:GO and am sensitive to stuttering, so I'm surprised with my results as 'bad' as they are that I haven't noticed anything.

If its not too much of a bother, could you screenshot Afterburner showing your frametime while playing CSGO?

It is effected, at least for me. Game does not feel connected and smooth. My aim becomes hardly controllable and I even struggle to land easy shoots. Switching back to my R9 290 fixes it.
I play Counterstrike on a high competetive level and the 1080 is unusable for me.

Well its safe to say nvidia heave really dropped the ball on the 10 series then

High prices.... well in the EU it is

availability was poor

High DPC with poor driver on all 10 series cards even the titan XP

never mind the promised 200fps with vulkan over open GL this was even shown... what 3 to 4 moths ago on there 10 series launch

why to go nvidia poor show ...the way where meant to be played...

sry guys n girls just frustrated at the moment but did hold off going into full rant mode but TBH the 1080 i am using here right now will not able me to go into full rant mode as it can not keep up with what i type on here so at least the 10 series cards are full rant mode free biggrin.gif
