Yes. I have seen it more common for mobos as well. For addin cards they don't check. Most of the time the GPU reviews seem "filtered", "doctored" is the word?, "guided", certain things are simply omitted and certain products are left out on purpose from the comparisons etc.

I'm still waiting for a refund from RMA, almost 3 months RMA process now, thanks ASUS! Keeping an eye on new GPUs in $200-250 price range. AMD or NV or well no one else makes powerful enough GPUs yet again.

^This.

I hope they figure this out. I was considering a 1070, but not now.

Biggest problem I have is that the DVI connected screen goes black for a second when certain videos are loading.

That was my Frankenbuild. It was the only way I was going to manage putting 3 Hawaii GPUs in a mATX PC. I am not messing around with multi-gpu setups anymore.

Just purchased a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X and just read this article. Not regretting anything as I have not noticed any issues with my card but will definitely test this when I get home. I have my main monitor at 1440p and my side monitors at 1080p (not sure if that matter) but I'll be able to test and check the stats real-time. Ill update for anyone interested.

Do any of those monitors are 144hz? I'm just wondering how it could be or not related to this. Mine is and i have the card you'll buy, i only have problems on video playback from the computer (youtube plays just fine).

I do not believe so, My QX2710 is 60hz if i recall correctly. And my other viewsonics are older and they are 60hz, maybe even lower. I will test gaming, youtube, and movies of different resolution and such to test this.
