for that price i would expect very few issues
more like unpaid beta testers.
How can I get to be a paid one? biggrin.gif
I can find a bug in anything, some games I was finding one a day at minimum because it was so bad lol
I really don't get QC/QA these days at companies, it seems nonexistent like they don't even use or play their stuff.
It's the same with RMAs they are happily sending back damaged and non working products...
It's getting ridiculous with the quality of products and services.

Nvidia asks for a premium pay for their products yet that extra pay is not showing up in quality of products.

Thx for the spot edited paid to paying smile.gif

Yes QC is poor .....

Re extra costs premium ect and where does it go ...well as always and many state it goes to RD costs ...which to be honest i have my doubts yes i expect its expensive ect but the figures i sometimes see being thrown out there are staggering ..how do we know the figures they give are even true ...

It just seems every time the question is brought up that seems to be the answer ...RD.....

The figures NV boasts with as investing into RD is IMHO just a rough summary of how much money they spend, as in salaries and all other expenses that they need to pay if they want to keep people working for them and have a place for them to work at.
Then they sum it across several years of the development of one series, of course the series overlap too, not taking that into account.

IMHO they would do better investing the supposed Pascal R&D expenses to making that manned mission to Mars instead.

They do invest a lot to R&D but then where else would they invest it? There are not that many companies for them to eat anymore they've already gobbled them all.

I don't know why but turning off the threaded driver optimization got rid of most of my microstuttering in CSGO? Really doesn't make sense to me because my frametimes are still garbage but the microstutters are only sometimes felt / noticed versus before they were very frequent and overtly apparent. *shrug* All I care is that the frames seem smoother now.

This means that we can pretty much narrow it down to drivers rather than hardware.

So is this issue fixed already with the current driver? I'm planning to buy a 1070 until I stumbled upon this.

372.54 is decent, but it's not entirely fixed. Also a lot of people are experiencing other issues with 372.54.

there's a new one coming up soon

Like what issues? This problem shouldn't stop me from buying a Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme card, should it?
