This is the second issue with Pascal where Nvidia claimed it met some sort of specification. Can't they ever just say "sorry guys, we effed up"?

Man I am so confused now. I was okay, then day before yesterday I began to have some odd hitching while playing CSGO so I checked my DPC latency again and sure as poop I was spiking. I DDUed and re-installed. Spiking no longer present yet I still have that hitching in game. I am pretty saltine right now. I even pulled out my previous SSD with my original Win7 install and popped it in to see if I wouldn't have the same issue. Still there and no DPC latency spikes on it either. Bamboozled again bois. More frequency than timings, generally. Latency depends on both.

Yeah - a lot of people don't isolate this very well when testing RAM. Ideally you should have at least three results.. 1600c8 vs 1600c11 vs 2400c12 will tell you a lot for example.

so the Nvidia rep said the fix wont make it into the next driver, so it will be either in the one after that or a hotfix after the next driver

no ETA, but when someone asked "2 months ?", he replied "no, much sooner"

Have we narrowed it down to specific situations ?

I.e. Windows 7 or 10 being more common?
