To be fair this would have kept on brewing to an extent that for a new launch would have been really bad
as more and more time and more peeps became aware

So they had to make it top priority

and i am sure nvidia where all ready aware of the issue way before the cards where even launched

1207us, that's 1ms stutter and i can feel it.

That is with the hotfix, before i had 2000.

did you DDU the old driver

Yes that is not right
my advice is strip down the pc hardware devices and check all drivers bare min ect ...i am sure even if it shows its nvidia at fault it still can be another device or driver that is causing it to show nvidia in the mon

Yea i always DDU.

There is a faster to check it, just disable the 1080 in device manager, and the card uses the standard vesa driver than and suddenly the latency is super low.

The best proof that it is Nvidia, is the fact that the hotfix totaly fixed IDLE latency for me (30us) but the load latency is still not fixed.

Regarding the Fallout 4 issue, it was a mod. I uninstalled all mods and suddenly the game runs properly. The hotfix solved the latency problem for me but it wasn't behind the Fallout 4 issue.

It is fixed since it's not reporting an issue with a nvidia driver. I'm trying to figure out why ACPI.sys is causing high DPC now thumb.gif
