You should use LatencyMon if you're on anything newer than Windows 7.

Oops. Sorry for the triple post, guys. I don't know what went wrong there; must have been a latency spike. Huehuehue.

I have been playing Rocket League with my OG Titan, and all of the hitches I was experiecing on my 1070 have gone. I am now 100% convinced that this is not placebo and my FPS stuttering/hitching is definitely being caused by the 1070. I limited my FPS to 120 with both cards and the Titan ran Rocket League at a locked 120FPS without any sudden drops and hitches.

It hurts to have a card that's just over 2x faster than my Titan just sitting there in its box. =,(

Yep tell me about it

Have a few pc's here with 10 series in with fps stutters very random ...but as soon as a 9 or even a 6 series go's in the random stutters gone i am hoping this is going to be fixed in the next driver if not will have some unhappy clients ...

Someone had suggested disabling shader cache, tried it and didn't make a difference. Someone had suggested using Fast Sync or whatever thats called where it drops every frame generated past your monitor's refresh rate. That didn't work either, in fact it never managed to work at all. My FPS always went past refresh rate. I have tried limiting my FPS with console commands and that doesn't have any effect either. I've deleted and reinstalled CSGO, updated every driver to the latest available, disabled onboard hardware I didn't need, disabled lots of Windows bloatware/processes, disabled HPET in device manager since my BIOS doesn't allow me to there, DDUed the software/driver twice over, checked performance on two Windows 7 installs on separate SSDs. The list of crap I have tried seems endless.

Long story short, I don't have any issues with keeping my FPS high, its retarded amounts of high with this card. Its my frametimes that are all out of whack. I get frametime spikes every 20 to 40 seconds manifesting itself as microstutter.

fast sync does not limit fps. it reduces tearing.
