I installed the hotfix driver as soon as I received my MSI 1070 (yesterday night).
My idle numbers seem the same as my GTX 580 (low to mid 100), but I will get in-game numbers tonight to compare.

I have a Catleap, so any kind of jerkiness would have been noticed in gaming. So far, I haven't see anything out-of-the-ordinary in Doom. I'll test with CS:GO tonight as well.

Thank you for that response and well its worse than that because CSGO on my rig runs at really high framerate. 200-300 FPS and sometimes higher @ 1440p with settings cranked minus FXAA or Motion blur.

sorry if asked before, but have you guys tried setting the card to MSI mode?

Has anyone with big latency problems run latencymon and dpc check without the graphics driver? I'm really interested to know wether it's a hardware problem (obviously nvidia wont admit it) or really a driver problem.

Hugh? Them recreating / acknowledging the problem and creating a hotfix driver implies just that. They know its a driver problem.

have you tried msi mode? you seemed to have tried a bunch of things, I'm wondering if you did this as well.

Hotfix did nothing for my NVIDIA branded 1080FE.
Latency is very high and I get choppy video.
This is a sick joke!

And this is how nVidia wanted to say Pascal cards are good for VR... Only if you want to give players seizures lol.

Jokes aside... Not sure if it's a driver limit only... If it was solely driver related, why don't the 900 series cards have it? Especially since Pascal is practically Maxwell 2 with adjustments for async... Could it be that their async implementation broke something else?

Sounds like you've been reading too much /r/AMD if you still think Pascal is "Maxwell 2.0" or Paxwell, or whatever pseudonym those guys have come up with tongue.gif
