[Engadget] Warner Bros. paid YouTubers for positive game reviews. - Page 7

I find reviewing games myself is better than watching other people trying to be "witty" and "edgy" while also using clickbait titles ect :c i sure miss demo-discs

I am not a fan of PewDiePie's content but he seems like a pretty stand up guy. This is his response to this.

Sounds like you're talking about PewdiePie and markiplier. Two of the biggest and pretty big youtube game personalities. I personally can't stand either of them but not all youtubers are as you described.

I'm 190% with you on this. I too dislike how he decided to focus on small indie games recently. I get it, but I don't feel like they're worth playing FOR ME. Few are good though. Like Door Kickers, which I sunk over 100 hours into, more than some AAA games I've played. So it's not all bad if he spreads the news about some meaty indie game. But generally I feel like they're time wasters and they don't satisfy me. I like my games deep and long LOL. But I still enjoy his podcasts as long as Dodger isn't on. Seriously, almost every time she isn't on they get into quality discussions on gaming. And not on "OMG i played an anime game where you make love to WW2 tanks." Bleh!

Supperbunnyhop is also trusted in my book. I really like his analysis on games.

Sure, but I wouldn't trust someone who's a cheater also.

And yes he was accused of hacking/cheating whatever you want to call it in CSGO, DayZ, Rust, etc etc. If you search its actually been proven that he has in some cases.

Nothing Frankieonpcin1080p does is real, I do not trust him one bit. Got to give him credit for his editing skills though and his first DayZ Mod videos where very entertaining until he hacked and got exposed.

TotalBiscuit, and Lirik (because rare footage on twitch, him disclosing and he's not afraid to stop playing a game when he dislikes it) are the only ones I trust.

Boogie2988 is another one you can ask stuff on twitch about games and he's very honest as well.

Thanks for letting me know. Just had to watch his Witcher 3 video and happens to have same felling and opinion as I had playing the last Expression.

It's like the companies who pay the YouTubers for positive game reviews have no faith in their own game. I mean, if your game is good, surely there is no need to pay someone to say it is so.

OMG... do you people actually know of this guy, or even follow him..?  WTH is wrong with children today, do you kids really need a cutsy fan base & followers, to be able to buy a game? What is the interest here, as this moron plays a game and records it... that is all folks.

Stop propping up tryhards, this guy is in love with himself and is obviously mocking the viewers.

Again, this guy isn't do this for the love or as a hobby, or with a passion. He is doing this for money and to make a living. He is a paid reviewer... his opinions are paid for..  & are not his.

The ideas and opinion expressed this post are not mine, they are paid for by the working people's party.
