for amd there wasn't very many reference cards released. if they're milking it they're not really making much.

i would say for nvidia there were more aib cards sold than reference.

Youbwanna provide a link to your source on there not being many reference 480s? Cuz i remenber hearing 25x the stock of 1080s and seeing pictured pallets and pallets of 480 at retail stores.

This card has some pretty cool features for being a sub $300 card. easily removable fans, dual bios,
RGB (though I dont care for it) and 8-pin instead of dual 6-pins. the cooler looks solid and it will
appeal in any case. Something I feel deserves way more credit. Far to many cards are to blingy.

The position of the 8pin is pretty trivial.

I agree 100% It's a great looking card.

People moaning about the 8-pin placement can
always use a 90-degree adapter.

My dilemma now is whether to get this for ~€300-€320
or a second-hand 780ti for €100 less. Hmmm...

I wouldn't waste anymore money on Kepler. Driver support waning, Higher power draw.

Most people I see selling gtx780/ti still want way more then they are worth.

The way I see it, Ebay the 780ti and spend the price you sold it for plus 100 and get this card.

780 Ti?

No way don't waste your money. I wouldn't buy one of those even at 150 euros. Keplar performance has plummeted and it was thoroughly left behind a while ago by Nvidia. It will also be pretty terrible in DX12/Vulkan for the power draw.

You may as well wait for the 470s if you want to spend less.

780 ti? No way. Even the 370x is faster than a 780ti on Doom with Vulkan

Dunno if their 07/22 date is valid.

210 GBP Nitro 4GB, 08/05
250 GBP Nitro 8GB, 08/05
250 GBP Nitro+ 8GB, 250 preorder but not later, 07/22
250 GBP Devil 8GB, 07/22

Clocks in range of 1300-1340.

But they also have:
220 GBP Powercolor 8GB reference, now

+20-30 GBP for a custom card is way too much IMHO. One may just get a 1060 if they are going to be priced very similar.
