I want a Vapor-X or a Toxic... Otherwise I'll be skipping this.

I know, but this card consumes less power and should be much cooler. And even if not, then why company known from such great coolers that provide great cooling with low noise levels let such badly designed card come out?

There are already some Asus 480 tests up there. They put not fitting cooler, again, and they didn't cool memory, again. This is No.1 brand to avoid.

I think that MSI will nail the cooler and noise levels as always.

I find it more amusing that a GeForce 210 is #4. wth.gif

I mean, I'm almost inclined to say the IGP on Ivy Bridge is probably more powerful than that piece of turd.

Confirmed, the HD 4000 IGP on Ivy Bridge is actually 2x faster than GeForce 210. lachen.giflachen.giflachen.gifrolleyes.giflachen.giflachen.giflachen.gif Please excuse me while I go cry in a corner due to uncontrollable laughter.

I ordered a 4g one, it will interesting to see what the projected delivery date will be if they provide one anytime soon.  I have been on Newegg's notification list for a while now for a 4G reference model and haven't heard a thing.

MSI's card is absolute crap. They ripped out 2 of the VRM phases, typical MSI level quality. Lemme go try and find the pic I saw of the PCB and post it here for you.

EDIT: here ya go!

Radeon RX 480 GAMING X will use the same Twin Frozr VI cooler as GeForce based solutions (including GTX 1060).

MSI doesnt give a crap about the card either same as ASUS. Reused a cooler not meant for the card, cut away components to save money, and used some cheaper grade stuff than reference to save money there too. So yes, very typical MSI hardware.

I was looking at Amazon the other day and one of the GTX 1080s was the #1 Best Seller. I've seen some other questionable ones as well - I have no idea where they get those stats.

Huh? Why on earth would they do this? Aside from cost savings, why else would this be done?

Only the MSI Lightning is good, nothing else they make.
