Just BAD Management deciding on what to put inside their mouse shells, nothing else .
New Razer Abyssus v2 - Page 29
Those horizontal lines aren't skips. The smooth horizontal lines are actual, normal motion. At a normal slow speed.
The scribbles are the interesting part.
Highest default dpi btw
(actually I was trying to reduce LoD but what can you do?)
E: Basically if the sensor thinks it's malfunctioning it tries to jitter on the spot with great success. I happened to get the tape in a perfect place where it didn't do this properly so it would scribble or jolt up and down. Just now I managed to put the tape across the top part just enough so that it would track normally (at least at low speeds) except for randomly jittering in place a few times a second.

Given Product tiering a 3320 variant is totally justifiable.
Anything the creator wants it to do. :P
In regards to Razer, Abyssus 2k14 obv. only had two native steps anyway and was scaling from 3500 as soon as you used synapse, Naga 2014 and Taipan are using native steps.
Of course it's totally inferior in every way but liftoff distance, so I'm going to go back to using the tape trick
*accidentally said sensor here earlier, ignore that
