Help disassembling fan

Thread Starter
Hey I'm wanting to paint my fans so they all match. I ha e removed the stickers and black rubber caps and can access the little clips all fine. Except one of the fans doesn't have a rubber stop it's hard plastic covering the clip. So the question is, is there a way to disassemble this fan so that I can paint it?

Thank you

Hmm, have you tried getting an x-acto knife in around the edge?
