Name some games you stopped playing since the didn't work right for whatever reason - Page 3

Batman: Arkham Origins. I got this game with a vid card purchase and according to Steam I have played it 17 minutes. At launch I dl'ed and fired it up. I heard music playing while I stared at a black screen. Waited six months for patches and a couple of driver updates to try and start the game again, this time to no music and a black screen. Uninstalled it.

The new Doom. For some reason it freezes/crashes during the loading screens for the next map. Tried it on both my SSD and HDD, no idea what the issue is. I was fine with restarting it until the crashing finally corrupted my save a few times and I'd have to start all over.

Mafia 2, my game got so buggy to the point where mobster enemies from a mission where I have to escort someone to a building, were spawning in a completely different mission, and all because I had him reach the building before I had time to defeat all of the mobsters. So now every time I load up my game, its just mob enemies of that same type everywhere. I don't want to bother starting a new game over either, since I've beaten this game previously in 2012-ish.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag, random crashes when my GPU is OC'd even in the slightest, even though it's a stable OC.

Odd, I never had issues with Homecoming on the 360, but Downpour was a different story. Bought it for $10 and let it sit for quite some time. When I finally started it, it felt like a slideshow with how bad the frame rate was.

Did you have God rays on? It really kills performance. I was able to run it smoothly on my GTX 460 even.

I'd say for me it was GTA 4 and BF3, I'm not sure what it was but my system hated those games. Crashes for days.

Take on Mars - Multiplayer was basically unplayable due to unoptimized net code.

State of Decay - Started randomly crashing.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover - The game was very unoptimized.

Crysis 2 - Literally crashed to desktop within a few minutes of starting the game.

H&G... I found about 1 bug every day I played it, they never fix them, the whole render is made for TN screens only where everything is pitch black on any IPS panel even with max gamma and post processing shaders don't help either the dark information simply isn't there, online gameplay (that's the only thing it has) is laggy as hell and hitting moving objects simply defies physics due to their idiotic lag compensation crap that doesn't even work as it should, you shoot something and rockets fly through the object, you shoot a moving person see the bullets fly through them yet the game doesn't register the hit because the hitboxes aren't where the person is rendered on your screen. This list would get endless, at to top it all off the whole game is majorly imbalanced with trash weapons and sounds and a toxic community that supports the imbalance between playable sides. There were times when the game would not even work in it's strategy part of the game in web browser for months due to server overload because of their trash coding.

FO4-story is uninteresting, paper characters ,poor writing , not well thought world at all, and visuals are obsolete. Bought it on day 1 , uninstalled it after 13 hours.

Overwatch. Was in all betas including closed ones , fascinating gameplay but leavers make competitive play intolerable . After a session where I had 7 victories and 5 defeats I lost 5 mmr points because enemy teams had leavers . Earning a tiny fraction of point at wins but losing full points at defeats is a huge red flag. I don't plan to go back unless this is addressed somehow.

Not at all the point of the thread lol. He means games that we stopped playing because they were broken/dysfunctional. For FO4 the only real reason that adheres to this thread would be massive FPS drops or inconsistency.
