What type of games do you like?
For FPS games Insurgency is a MUST have.
Civilization V is addicting.
COD4 is kind of COD
Dirty bomb is real fun
You can get unreal tournament for free and its AMAZING!
https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/
Red trigger is free, its a puzzle based game like portal. (Portal 1-2 are must haves)
Team Fortress is fun.
Project cars
Metro last light and 2033
GTA SA Multiplayer is a classic cops and robber server is where its at
post #3 of 11
It really depends on what games you like obviously but i've been enjoying rocket league and overwatch.

It depends what you want from a game. My recommendations:

Racing Simulators

  1. Assetto Corsa - Cheap compared to the other ones, but it is very good.
  2. iRacing - Gets expensive quickly, but it has by far the best online community I have seen, although that's pretty much all it has. It's primarily an online racer.
  3. rFactor 2 - I don't really know much about this as I haven't played it, but I own rFactor 1 and that is a pretty good sim although very dated now.
  4. Live For Speed - This one has a very good tyre and clutch model, but development pretty much stopped in 2007/2008. They teased new content for it in 2008 and it still hasn't been released. I would try to demo first (no time limit on how long you can play) before making a purchase
  5. DIRT Rally - I'm not really sure if this should be classed as a sim because I haven't played it, but people do say it's very realistic

Simcade Racers

  1. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex - It's basically a tech demo, but it's free. The only catch is you need Windows 10 as it's DX12 only.
  2. PCARs - It does get expensive if you want to get it with all of the DLC, but at the moment it has one of the best racer careers on PC. Don't believe the "this is a very realistic simulator" hype, it's not. Think of it as Need For Speed: Shift 3 without Porsche.
  3. GRID - Pretty old game, but it's still very good. Especially the career mode. I would avoid getting GRID 2 and GRID Autosport.

Arcade Racers

  1. Test Drive Unlimited 1 - This is another aging game, but it's a very good open world racer. Servers have been shut down for a while now so there is no online, but single player is pretty good. You might have some issues getting hold of a copy. AFAIK there are no digital distributions so there are only physical copies. You might be able to pick up a copy from eBay or something.
  2. Trackmania - Any from the series. There are free to play versions, so you can always try them out before buying one.
  3. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit - This is a pretty good racer that takes the series back to the original NFS type racers.

First Person Shooters

  1. Payday 2 - It's coop PvE although you can do it solo. It's a cops and robbers game, except you can't choose what side you want to be on. It's robbers only. It can get expensive with all of the DLC, but a lot of the DLC is very good and worth full price IMO. You can however wait until a Steam sale before you buy a copy. It does regularly go on sale at 75% off or 50% off for DLC less than 2 months old.
  2. ARMA 3 - This is a full on military simulator with a huge modding community for both content and game modes. The standard content is pretty good and the standard maps are huge. The larger map has a 200km/125 mile (real miles, not in game) coastline. There are a lot of different game modes to choose from on servers, but you will have to download and install them. They range from PvP, PvE, survival, last man standing, GTA style open world, etc. There is a lot to learn about how to play which does put a lot of people off playing.
  3. Half Life/Black Mesa - The whole series. These are classics (Black Mesa is a fan made Half Life 1 remake), I wouldn't be surprised if you have already played them. The game mechanics (especially for Half Life 2) and graphics were far beyond what was the standard of the time. I always assumed Half Life 2 was a 2009-2011 release. I only found out a few months ago that it was originally released in 2004.

Indie

  1. Don't Starve - This is a 2D Minecraft style survival game. I did enjoy it.
  2. Subnautica - This is a very interesting game. It's a survival game based in an ocean on an alien planet that you crash landed on. When I first played this, I instantly thought of it as "Minecraft 2". Watch some YouTube gameplay and you will see what I mean. It is in early alpha at the moment, so it is pretty buggy, but it's still a playable game.
  3. Bastion - I didn't really play much of this because it's not my sort of game. What I did play, I did think it was enjoyable. The narrative is very good.

Third Person Shooters

  1. GTA V - The single player is pretty good, although I wouldn't say it's the best in the series. I would avoid Online though. Public servers are are full of cheaters, but it might not be obvious, they are there. Prices of in game items are extortionate, you can either grind for 10 hours to get ~$6,000,000 which is about enough for a mid-range yacht and one super car, or you can spend $60 USD real money to get the same thing. This is one of the reasons why there are so many cheaters, most of them are harmless, they just use the cheats to get money so they can buy the in game items. Sometimes they can drop money on you which could get you banned but that's pretty rare.
  2. Max Payne 3 - This has a very good story, but not much else. It plays very similarly to GTA V since it's a similar game running on the same game/physics engine and made by the same developers.
  3. Mafia series - Both games have very good stories. Some of the best stories in the genre IMO. The first game is hasn't aged well, so it will take some getting used to.
  4. L.A. Noire - A police game set in 1950s Los Angeles. It's a pretty slow game but it does have some very good facial animations as well as a pretty good story. However, because of how the facial animations were made, the game is capped at 30fps. You can uncap it so it runs at 60fps+, but it will break the physics so it's recommended that you don't do that. The frame rate isn't really too much of an issue since it's a slow paced game with only a few fast paced sections (car chases and shootouts). It wasn't planned to be released on PC so the kb+m controls are bad. You really should play it with a controller to enjoy it.

Tell me what type of game you're most in the mood for right now, and I'll list some suggestions. Since you're playing Forza 6, I'd like to point you toward Assetto Corsa and Project C.A.R.S.

Been playing Rebel Galaxy the last few days. It's a space Shooter/trading type game with a Freelancer vibe. 3D but takes place on a 2D plane. It can be a little intimidating at first and your starting ship is pretty **** but once you get a little cash flow and upgrades you'll be taking out enemy fighters and going broadsides with other capital ships. Combat can get hectic and feel overwhelming at first, but, trust in your shields (maybe not starting shields), reposition when a side goes down, and make sure to take out smaller fighters before dealing with the big guys and you should be good to go.

The sound track is really solid also.

*Oh, and set your turrets to all attack your target. Least early on. Makes it much quicker to take down fighters. Haven't gotten to the crazy ships with tons of guns yet.

Word of warning: It doesn't have much role-playing at all. Being based on novels + the developers' preference for cinematics severely limits how much role-playing it has. I definitely can't agree with this statement as a result. Best open world RPG would be Fallout: New Vegas, especially with mods. Outstanding writing quality, particularly in the DLCs, as well.

I love FPS, Racing, and Smite was pretty cool at one point, Runescape used to be my jam.
For MX on PC I implore you guys to look at MXGP2. Best thing I've found on PC, yes better than Reflex.
