I need some help. I've got a strange issue, although this could just be me being a noob. So when running Heaven 4.0, in Extreme preset (which defaults to windowed 1600x900 res.) my FPS is capping at my monitor's refresh rate. Shouldn't it be pushing as high as it can?

I'm confused what's causing this, Frame Rate limiter is disabled in Radeon Settings & I've got freesync disabled too incase that was interfering at all.

Perhaps you have vsync enabled in Radeon Settings or somewhere in Heaven?

I have it set to: 'Off, unless application specifies' in radeon settings, I do not believe their is a v-sync option in Heaven...

MSI, GIGABYTE, XFX, Powercolor, HIS or NITRO?

Please help and many thanks in advance.

I also have two MSI Gaming X 8GB RX480 cards and I have been very impressed by their build quality and performance. They were more expensive than most of the the others though.

No, but you could get some idea from the members list table in OP, it contains models and proof links, which have the OC, if any. I know it's not much, but... smile.gif

Pretty sure there is. Windowed mode is also susceptible to v-sync from Aero on specific setups.

Yeah could be a revision as I bought the first one about 5 weeks ago. The new one was bought last week.

My best run was at 1440 MHz at +78mV but there were a few "starburst" artifacts. Do you know your ASIC quality? GPU-Z reports mine at 86.5%, I think I got lucky.

Woah that's a very high asic rating you got there, you lucked out! Mine is 'only' 72.8.

I'm gonna try the first run at 1410Mhz core/2200 memory and will let you guys know how far it can be pushed.

So, I went ahead and ran Heaven again, had it looping while I watched HWinfo and adjusted Afterburner. I noticed in HWinfo that I was getting a lot of memory errors, so I adjusted the RAM clock down to 2160. Then I started lowering the voltage... It's currently stable at 1410 MHz GPU, 2160 RAM with zero errors and zero artifacts. Voltage offset -18mV biggrin.gif

My mistake, here are the offsets:

1400/2160 -18mV
1410/2160 0mV
1430/2160 +66mV

I'll post a screencap in a minute so you can see HWinfo stuff
