Would it help though? That heatsink just doesn't look big enough to dissipate that amount of heat quickly enough. At least not without fans running at deafening speeds.

Someone else back in the thread, or one or the 470/480 threads maybe not this one, did and it helped with temps on their nitro

I've replaced the TIM between core and heatsink on mine with CLU and didn't see any significant change. MSI Gaming X, not Nitro+.

Decent for the CPU I have. Can probably try for a higher OC since I "modded" in a second intake fan.

I updated my rig's build/update thread with my 140 intake mod, as well as taping the top gaps on my 212 between the rad and fans.
Here's the link so I'm not reposting it a hundred times

I can tell it's going to make it run a good bit cooler.

After running that benchmark twice in a row my temps on my CPU were definitley down, I have to game here for a few hours to fully test out how cool it keeps it. Stress tests are nice and all but I'm looking for real-world temps with crazy peaks and whathave you. GPU and CPU running at the same time. Will report back.

Decent?

My Specs:
Asus RX 480 8GB Strix
A10-7860k
8GB DDR3 2400 Anarchy
MSI A88X-G45 Gaming Motherboard

Here are my results, everything stock:
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/15798686 (Firestrike)
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/11707496 (3DMark11)

And here are my results with the CPU running @ 4.6Ghz and Ram running @ 2133..
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/15775530 (Firestrike)
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/11695266 (3DMark11)

Obviously AMD CPU's bottleneck the ***** of of this card.... now does anyone know if the FX series (FX-6300 - FX 8xxx) bottleneck this card like crazy as well?

Go Intel now, or hope Zen is decent.

FX can be even worse.

I went from a Sapphire HD6950 to a Nitro 8Gb 470, It's like having a whole new computer haha. First thing he'll notice is not running out of VRAM anymore haha. Crank those settings up!

Hey guys.

This isn't video card specific, but here's a nice little benchmarker that is very informative. Give it a run. It only takes a couple of minutes.

I have found out that my RAM and SSDs seem to be under performing. Going to look into that now.

Here's my score.
