Disable hardware acceleration. Chrome's hardware acceleration crashed my game once.

Thanks.

I seem to have gotten the best score with my Nitro RX 470 4GB in Time Spy when at stock Wattman seetings (1260MHz, auto fan). My 1370MHz/1800MHz OC actually resulted in a slightly lower score. Maybe it was throttling when OCd and I need to mess with it, but the result stated my core clock to be 1370 MHz.

edit: not sure what that interruption was. I was out doing chores.

16C difference in VRM temp at stock settings. And I'm sure once I push past stock voltage my temps could get out of control. They're already close to 80C with stock volts/power maxed out. Depsite they're high temp rating, I don't like to be much higher than 80-85C for extended use.

Hmph...I may have to sell this block and get something else.

I'd heard from another forum member that the water doesn't flow directly over the VRMs. Not sure if that's true. I know I run my motherboard VRMs a lot hotter than that but I burned mine. VRMs are designed to work fine at 100 degrees so you have some way to go.

edit: I added 14mv to my 1445 overclock I'm at 1264mv VID right now. I had a lockup with the case door back on fans on low and the door shut to the office playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. Max VRM temp after playing that for a while and benching a bunch of games was 76 for me.

Likely need to increase power limit or verify that its not temperature related throttling.

Anyone else having really funking Rise of the Tomb Raider benchmark issues on the 16.7.2 drivers? I about had a heart attack. I started getting artifacting and some weird texture pop ins. It even happened with everything on stock settings. However, every other game and benchmark I have is fine, other than the opening menu of Just Cause 3. But that did odd things from day one and the Just Cause 3 runs fine in game. I tested firestrike Ultra, heaven. Batman Arkham Knight, Shadows of Mordor on ultra (it looked like video memory artifacting), metal gear, Witcher 3, and dragon age Inquisition. No artifacting anywhere. I don't want to update to the 16.7.3 drivers because I don't want to lose my memory overclock. Has anyone else seen this? It seems like a driver issue, but it was odd that it happened after running the bench over and over and now happens in the main menu. I haven't tried in game yet.

Some people reapplied the paste with something like Arctic MX4 and the temperature went down by like 5 celcius

I narrowed Rise of the Tomb Raider's problem down to SSAA. FXAA is no problem. At least I can go back to my OC without thinking I'd fried my video mem. lol

I can post the bench for you no problem.

1080 Full Screen - Extreme 8xAA - 1400/2250 - Score: 2482

I will be attempting to push the card further, but I don't think it will be tonight. Seeing as how the VRMs are not experiencing the temp drops I was anticipating, I doubt there is much left in the overclocking 'tank'. Next step is likely going to have to be BIOS flash.
