hey thanks for reply. The brand is medion, and the graphics card is 8gb version

Helps a bit but not exactly what I meant when asking what 480 lol

The board looks to be fairly cheap, likely it's not able to handle the 480 if you're using a Reference design which will put more weight on the PCIE slots power abilities. It being a cheap board it probably has to be pretty strictly limited to the PCIE standard.

That's my guess is it's his cheap motherboard.

AFAIK, the 1070 issue happened even at stock. The PC Red Devil was only having problems when overclocked.

Guys, may I ask 2 things :

1) The memory voltage seems to make no difference at all, 975mv or 1100mv does not add any stability at all. Is that normal?
2) Wattman goes up to 1.175v for the core, and Afterburner up to +100 (which assuming is mv means 1.162(stock)+0.100=1.262v
So, is there any way to extend wattman range to go higher?

And a general question, it seems weird that Afterburner has this offset when cards don't have the same stock core voltage. So for me that stock V is 1.162 I will reach 1.262v, but for someone with 1.1v stock he can only reach 1.2v? weird

AFAIK the driver limits the voltage to ~1.175v. I have not seen Afterburner properly set voltage on a Polaris card yet, so that +100 is +0 in my experience. biggrin.gif

actually in my card afterburner does give more voltage but I can't know if that +100 is mV or not because of vDroop.
But for example, with +78 I am stable at 1450mhz and gpu-z reads an average load voltage of 1.205v
Theoritecally speaking if that +78 is indeed mV and because my card has 1.162 stock V, then it brings it up to 1.24v so with some vDroop a real heavy load voltage of 1.205v seems to fit.
