I live in france, so here is the amazon pricing for various RX 480 brands, : https://www.amazon.fr/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&url=search-alias%3Dcomputers&field-keywords=rx+480+8gb
you can see for exemple that the ASUS Strix is priced at 304€ seems to have a a problem with the default thermal paste, a bit better VRM and Vcore build quality, but no bios switch. (and some useless fan headers and all that, rgb headers which if i could buy a shoved down version of all that i will go for it but i cant.
MSI one is the cheapest one but also the weakest built between the xfx and asus one. + ASUS model and MSI one are out of stock.
And i don't know if in Amazon US it does that but i found quite surprising that when a components is low in stock prices are dropped. I had my I7 6700K at 324€ where as usual it was near 400€ at that time.
Now, amazon have only 2 samples of the XFX GTR BE which is priced at 307€
MSI and ASUS model are out of stock and oh, prices raised... It's kinda blurry for me know....
So i hear all of you, i watched i think maybe 2 entiere days of reviews about MSI and XFX models. + PCB analysis by Actually Hardcore Overclock.
And im between all of that like "WTH, which way should i go."
