Prolly not necessary to check with futuremark. Metro might be a good choice for real world worst case power draw. But I also check my cpu overclock with Prime95 small so I guess I like to push things. Ada64 fpu just doesn't push quite hard enough for me.

edit: I'm not sure which uses more power but I think it's futuremark firestrike ultra stress test. I don't have metro last light installed. It's in my steam library. Downloading now. My internet is slow by modern standards as I'm way out in the country on wireless. It'll take a while.

edit2: It's about 26 more min and I'll try with 4k last light. Before I smoke my system testing again does anyone know if it uses more than future mark ultra stress loop?

I try with furmark but, its a mess its imposible to control nothing i thing its not a very good parameter.-

Im trying with Msi Kombustor give my a 130/140 tdp, then try with Unigine, give me a few more power draw, 159 max, and now downloading future mark to check in ultra at this moment im scaling to 1440 mhz, at 1450 have some artifacs all this with 2250 mhz memory at stock voltage.-
Im going to see if i can rise to 1450 mhz without artifacts.-

Something i can't understand about ASUS GPU Tweak II its, i select the core speed, for example to 1400 and when press apply go to 13xx i need to set for example 1560 to get 1400 at the moment of the apply, may be its a software bug.-

And with the monitor of Asus GPU Tweak II the same, if you see de "GPU Voltage" its a lot smaller than the VDDC I see in the GPU-Z[/quote]

VDDC has been more stable for me after 16.8.1 I'll test on stock first for safety. I singed my motherboad a bit at 1445 wtth enough voltage to pass firestrike ultra stress loop. So I'll re-test on stock and then maybe at 1430 1.22. I can do lower for heaven at 1430 but I need that much to pass frame stability in ultra stress loop.

I picked up an MSI RX 470 Gaming X and a Corsair H60 water cooler. Should be fun overclocking this thing biggrin.gif

Got it, yes i upgrade the last drivers this morning now check de VDDC and the monitor in tweak II and its correct right now.-
About the "core settings" im very sure its a bug of the software, you put a higher value and when press apply set another lower, so you must go more far and hit apply to get the value you want.-

About the stress, I see in a Gamersnexus with Firestrike ultra they get a TDP of 190w - Its more like you say, a extreme intense posible escenario, for example in Furmark i get 220 / 240 watts the last time i smell the VRM phase of my motherboard so, don't recommend use it.-

In a few minutes the Firestrike will be downloaded, and see the results

Its amazing how the waters help, in the case of the RX 480, very easy to put it - I use a maelstrom 120k

If you''re measuring with hwinfo and gpuz the actual power usage is much higher. I can't remember. Maybe like 20 or 30 percent. So yeah, everything needs to be good in your system for that.

edit: I haven't tested today's version of gpuz yet. will in a min.

You say, for example if i see in the GPU-Z 160W of power Draw in the practice im getting more high TDP? example 180w ? - Or you are saying the GPUZ power draw in screen its more higher than the real one ?
the actual power draw is 20 or 30 percent higher than what gpuz says. as of the last version. I don't have the equipment to test but I can see if the values have gone up with the new version with the same settings.

I see you have some recomendation to check the real TDP?
