Also, the fan ramp up time in wattman is atrociously slow. I end up throttling hard for about 1-2m while wattman ever so slowly ramps up the fan RPM. After that clocks shoot up to max and stay there.

Using the same settings as Bit-Tech, I score about 50% of a GTX 1070 Strix in Valley. 3409 VS. 6613.

Set your target temp lower. I set mine to 60c so it hits the target fan speed faster then temps will level out around 75c @ 2800rpm. Just to be clear it won't throttle when it hits or goes past the target temp. It will once it hits the max temp though.

Could be bios is voltage limited, won't let you go higher

May be... but if you put something amazing like... 1450 in Tweaks II then you have somethin like 1.350 real volts so... and have a unlocked bios to 1.40v i think that was the specs

@greytoad - Yes finally get some conclutions, i try with 1225v in tweak II have a voltage drop, crashes, then decide to go up a lot and finish with real 1.29/30 was stable but terrible like you say, then start again after your recomendation, but now checking the real voltage, and see what happend so... start to up and check the real, to get in my case 1.25v reals and now works amazing can get 1430 mhz not 1450 because have some artifacs and i don't want more voltage than 1.25v more voltage for 20 mhz i don't think so, at least my memory are at 2250 mhz.-
Unigine, 3d Marks, Metro Last Light, works fantasic, here its a picture of the difference look:

the VDDC its the same in HWiNFO and Tweak II monitor

1430 Mhz and 2250 mhz at 1.25v for 24/7 gaming at less than 60º and very quiet, the day its saved

Just got msi rx 470 gaming, manage to overclock it to 1350/1875. But I can't seem to increase the GPU voltage. Mem voltage increase appears to stick, but GPU always resets back default to max of 1.1563 the instance I leave the box. Am I missing something?
@ greytoad thanks for the feedback, looks like 1300 -> 1350 isnt much of a difference outside of power consumption going much higher.

I keep having to step the memory back, looks like 1850 for now. Seems like the higher I can push the FPS the more sensitive the memory is. Doing some burn in with Dirt 3 ATM, can push 200+ FPS.

~1150 is default max in WM and stock BIOS AFAIK.

And the testing place, im waiting another maelstrom to do it in the second RX 480, the side fan its only at 1000 rpm just to get cold the VRM phase of the video card in the future the two video cards.-

Did the Maelstrom just bolt right on? No bracket?

No way... that's wild if so.

Nou, just zip ties, effective cheaper and 100% functional, just cut a bit to have space, put the maelstrom, pass 4 zip ties of 2.5mm to 100mm lenght, and rock on!

Didn't even see those.

Nice. Looks like it works well.

Seems to line up perfectly, from what I can see anyway. Possible to use bolts do you think?

Or are the holes slightly offset from each other?
