Pray tell who sells $165 RX 470s? I sure would buy that but the cheapest I have seen are $192.

rx 470 game perfromance is not really closed to double of rx 460. For example:
Overwatch
460 is around 75fps:

470 is around 95fps:

A person quoted the wrong price, I thought the discount became bigger. Here is the correct detail:

The RX460 is a great card for the money, grab a 4gb @ 130$ and you can play pretty much any game you want at decent settings. Its my go to budget rig recommendation for anyone who doesn't NEED nvidia

For $130, it's a bad buy, IMHO, unless you want FreeSync. 4GB is also a waste as the bandwidth is just too weak to make use of it better than steaming data from system RAM.

I disagree, at 100-140$ I don't see any reason not to get a 460 unless your budget allows something better. At sub 150$ it's hard to beat the 460 if you want Dx12/vulkan, the 950 and 750ti are still good Nvidia options also but their lack of proper dx12/vulkan support sways me away personally

Sub $150, 460 is a bad price/performance card. Worst from the 4xx lineup. But if you like it, buy it, support AMD, I certainly wouldn't buy it.

$120 is a decent buy, if all other costs are included... 4GB of RAM at that price would make it a good buy, even though the extra RAM doesn't seem to provide much benefit.

But for $135, you can get a GTX 950 4GB, which is consistently faster than the 4GB RX 460 which begins at $130. The only selling point for that card is FreeSync. DX12 performance helps some, but not much more than to bring parity.

I love AMD, but the 4GB RX 460 is a disappointment at $130.

Suspect the Nvidia fanboys can't get enough hatred out of their system hence they're always here to spew their bile upon us. Don't care nor want to know anything about their horrid hardware preference, just wish they had that common courtesy to leave us alone to enjoy our chosen Graphics Card.

I'm anything but a fanboy... I have 2 AMD cards and 3 AMD CPU's... I actually posted my original comment in the wrong thread(had 2 open about rx 480's), but it still doesn't take away from the fact that NVidia completely destroyed AMD with the GTX 1060 and the pricing.

I would love to be able to buy an AMD CPU that can out perform a GTX 1070 for the same price, but it's not going to happen for a while.

Actually i am not dropping below 100 fps with the RX 470 in Overwatch ... and that's in heavy situations
