We agree on a lot, but our disagreements are always enjoyable.

My statement stands - Outlast had some great moments, atmosphere and it totally worth playing.

Dishonored - maybe not futuristic, more victorian/steampunk, but the story and gameplay is awesome. Huge maps with multiple ways to achieve your goal. Very dark and gritty.

Mirrors Edge - should classify as futuristic dystopian. Interesting story and decent gameplay, maps however are very linear and the ending was a bit disappointing in my opinion. About as far away from dark and gritty as you get tho tongue.gif

I have also been enjoying Dishonored lately as I finally opted to dust it off and play it. So I have to agree with the others as that is your best bet based on your list of played games.
I also cannot wait for Mankind Divided as Deus Ex is my favorite PC game series of all time.

If you enjoy the Hitman games(not exactly the style you are looking for though)then I also recommend that as it has had vast improvements since release and constant new content to play. It also is a DX12 title and with your hardware it should run great and look fantastic. My PC is down for maintenance so I opted to play Dishonored as the art style doesn't require super high resolution to enjoy as it seems like a "living oil painting" and I am loving every minute of it. thumb.gif

I have not played the latest Mirrors Edge but I hear very good things and am just waiting to play that on PC.

Any of these titles has enough content to keep you busy until August 23rd.

I know the OP has played Dishonored already, but for those worried about its graphics (including the OP if he wants to try an alternative playstyle, as playing stealth low chaos is completely different than non-stealth high chaos, with both being equally feasible and well developed), as long as you have a good NVIDIA card and preferably a high resolution monitor you can make it look stunning by forcing HBAO+ and supersampling. The result (open in new tab to see supersampled goodness):

Art design > fidelity. They really tried to perfect every location and scene. Although as far as fidelity goes, the lighting system and character models are still above average today. Many characters look weird (mostly men, an artistic choice), but are detailed. I replayed it recently and I found places I didn't the first time, and I went with a more action oriented high chaos style instead of my low chaos ghost playstyle the first time around. Incredible experience both times.

Wow! Is there anyway to make the game look even half that good on an AMD GPU? I also agree this game is amazing for replay value which is rare these days. I think anyone who is a fan of Deus Ex or the original Thief games would absolutely have to also love this. I can't wait to play 2! thumb.gif

Try VSR + ReShade ambient occlusion. If you use enough VSR then you can reduce aliasing as much as those screenshots, but nothing can be done about the ambient occlusion. ReShade's isn't nearly as effective.

Crazy thing is in recent drivers (this year) NVIDIA has improved their forced ambient occlusion, evident in those screenshots. It only works in DX9 games (and Metro Redux, don't know of any other DX11 games in which it works and no DX10 games) thus it's only a feature for "older" games yet NVIDIA has still improved upon it. So far I've noticed the improvements both in Unreal Engine 3 games as well as Source games.

Forced ambient occlusion and supersampling/HSAA are two reasons I stick to NVIDIA. Most of the games I play work with one or the other or both.

As for Dishonored 2, I actually preordered the Definitive Edition. My first time getting such a high priced limited edition version of a game.
