Blower vs Open GTX 1070 on Elite 130.

Hi guys.
I have an elite 130 case with a blower gtx 660ti and a 3570k on stock intel cooler.
I always preferred this setup because of known reasons to not dump air inside the case, and since intel stock cooler is not that good it would increase my temps.
My 660ti also reach some high temps when gaming, 80c~85c depending on the game, but all this hot air is exausted and cpu still stays at 65~70c at load.
My question is, if i buy a watercooler like a h60 or h80 from corsair, it will probably isolate the cpu while reaching better temps than intel stock, and also would allow me to not worry about and open air gpu right? Also my gpu would be a lot cooler than a reference design.
What do you guys think of this?
intel stock+blower or water+open air?

To isolate your CPU with an AIO you would have to have it intaking air from the outside, which would mean heat from both your GPU and your CPU would be dumped into your case. This is fine as long as you can have at least one exhaust fan for extracting all that hot air, but expect the temperatures of your internal components to rise.

If you are okay with the noise of the blower style GPU cooler and the stock intel CPU, then stick with that. If you want something quieter that keeps your GPU and CPU at lower temperatures, go for an open GPU cooler and an AIO, at the expense of higher internal temperatures for other components.

Thanks for the answer.
I already flipped one of internal fans to be an exaust, because after my 660ti exausts the heat outside, that fan that was intake before, was getting that same hot air and putting inside the case again, and i think my psu is doing the same thing and i am about to flip it too to act as an exaust.
But if i buy an open air gpu i will leave my psu that way because it will intake the hot air from inside the case, and i think i will just let my side fan do this job.
The noise from my blower gpu never bothered me, i am thinking about this because i read that gtx 1070 will throttle at 80c, and my 660ti reach this temp easily, so i am afraid that if my gpu is always at this temp i will have a throttled down 1070 all the time, and an open air card will help lowering this temps.

It is generally a good idea to separate your PSU's airflow from the rest of your computer, as most PSUs want to run at <40 or 50C. Having to exhaust hot air from a case makes that a lot harder for a PSU to do, and can dramatically decrease it's lifespan. As you say, just let the side fan do its job and exhaust the hot air on its own if you go for an open-air cooler.

Honestly though, I've heard people getting ~75C with the stock blower cooler on their 1070s, so unless you want to prevent any throttling at all from happening, it should be enough. Don't take my word for it though, go look at the 1070 owner's club thread and see what temperatures people have been getting there.
