Need help finding a new mousepad

Currently using the Zowie G-SR blue. Living in Florida the humidity in my room gets pretty bad. The feel on my mousepad changes pretty drastically with the humidity. Will this happen with all cloth pads?

Some cloth pads have water resistant coatings that might help with the humidity, but you would still probably notice it soaking up some moisture.

If you are one of those poor souls living in Florida without central AC, consider investing in a dehumidifier.

Thanks for the quick response. Any suggestions?

Steelseries QCK is good about not becoming sticky when humid. Artisan pads as well.

Thoughts on the QCK Heavy?

I use the ultra wide heavy version of the Reflex lab pad; It seems pretty well made and does have a water resistant coating.

I think the QCK series are the only pads made by SS that are not water resistant.

Glorious Mouse Pad would be my vote. The surface is soft and non-abrasive unlike the pretty scratchy surface of the QCK, but the glide is similarly quick and smooth. It will be quicker than what you're accustomed too with the GSR but the humidity will not change the consistency of your movements. Also, you can't beat the price for the quality that you get. Even if you don't feel like you like it, the XL pad is only 15 dollars.
