I don't think he meant it in a bad way. It's hard to tell with text, but it looks like instead hes offering a possible solution to an issue. I think what he meant was instead of complaining maybe make an effort to help make it better if you can.

There is a professional way to do it though isn't there.

I know that it was probably a harmless personal jibe at one of the two companies he is meant to show complete impartiality to. But on the other hand it could hint at a culture of mocking AMD at Futuremark, for example, something that would be very bad indeed. It's basically not far from how a fanboy would post about AMD's drivers, which is not a good look at all.

Man were they awesome.

They look more like actual gameplay.

I'm fairly sure we'll do an official statement but that will take time to craft and this whole thing happened on a weekend.

I'm not the PR guy. Email to press@futuremark.com if you want the PR guy.

This is not very professional.

You work for Futuremark you shouldn't be showing an open bias by criticising AMD's drivers in OpenGL as 'not working' when after the patch AMD Doom performance is good in OpenGL. I would hardly call 90fps as not working.

AMD performed GREAT in OpenGL version of DOOM in Beta, they changed it to an older version right before launch for mysterious reasons. Google DOOM beta and alpha benchamrks, the headlines even read "AMD dominates NVIDIA".

Futuremark is garbage anyway, remember that awful game they made? Was it called shattered Horizon or something like that? More like Shattered Credibility.

WOW, I just cough up with this drama. I can't believe AMD community is so toxic, immature, paranoid and rotten that they are upset because Pascal has 6% or so gains with Async enabled. Even threatening 3DMark devs!? WTH is wrong with people.

Says the guy who was calling out websites for their different results when his beloved gpu gets beaten. lol

There are people like that in every community. No reason to generalize.

I don't know why people are jumping to all these conclusions against futuremark. Their target of widest support is going to result in things like this.

correction. 1 website that contradicts all other websites results. meanwhile AMD fanatics are threatening 3DMark devs and "reversing" code trying to find something against 3DMark and Nvidia. Yeah that's normal person behavior. Will be funny when with every new GPU release Nvidia gets more and more Async advantage and will win this "war" like it always does. I suspect another 6 months of this bickering before it becomes irrelevant. Pascal v2 will have even bigger gains and then Volta bigger still. Meanwhile latest AMD cards show DECREASED async capabilities compared to something like 290X.
