Asus 1080 Strix GTX + EK WB SLI !+! Visiontek FURY X Crossfire ! WHOA ? YES

OK so I am moments away from clicking the go on this build, presently I have a 128 gig pool of 2133 DDR4 and 18 Xeon 2699 on dual PLX board Extreme11. I have one Fury X and am thinking about 1 more + 2 Strix Oc 1080's or dropping it and getting 4 Strix 1080's. Any takers if this is a good idea for these 2 different applications.

1) Windows Server 2016 Exterprize VM''s (Hyper X) for 2 VM's one SLI and one Crossfire.

2) Second boot over driver mode (I heard you could pool the 2 now ?) Or is there some type of limitations.

BONUS) 3) get 4 1080 Strix GTX despite the whole point about it not being recommended and not being developed for perhaps better than 2 and can fall back to one ?...

Thank you for your time and pictures to follow

What will you be using this computer for? Multi-headed gaming rig?

This computer will literally have many applications :

1) Mulitple projectors server for large scale festival 3d mapping and a pop up full server collaborative work environment (pre configured vm network), as the custom made flight case has hard fastened external quick-fittings. Allowing for 3 pieces: Radiator, Chassis and Cabling. (Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse + projectors) are always waiting at the events.

2) As a work station environment for classroom applications. I figure I could safely use 4-5 vm's with 3d studio.

3) As a collaborative DAW studio environment for the local artists and talent. Both VST heavy electronic music and large scale production recording.

4) As a full scale computer for multiple occupant dwelling.

5) A multi headed gaming attempt system. Hyper X

6) For the once or twice a month full scale gaming rig (8k?)

7) To be taken on the road as a part of a full scale a/v production.

8) Large scale VPN remote network.

Obviously there are even better options but is an interesting question for the overclock community as to what can I expect graphics support wise in most of these applications.
